Early life of Kope Makgae
The Limpopo province’s Lebowakgomo, Polokwane, is where Kope Makgae was born on November 7, 1985. He was raised in the southeast of Polokwane, in the Mapedi neighborhood of Lebowakgomo. His family was very involved in music, and starting at a young age, his elders urged him to have confidence, which is reflected in his current artistic persona. [1]

Kope went to Lebowakgomo for a primary and secondary education. He attended Capricorn High School for his high school education and matriculation. He later enrolled at the University of Limpopo to study media studies, and after a number of years, he earned a BA in media and communications.

Acting and Music Career of Kope Makgae
During his high school years, Tswyza became interested in music and gained the nickname Tswyza from his friends because of his distinctive rapping style. He hustled in a variety of ways prior to making his debut in the entertainment industry. After selling kota sandwiches to his friends from high school, he went on to provide pens and pencils to schools throughout the Limpopo region.
Additionally, Tswyza would start catering and even began creating curtains for assisted living facilities. A brief appearance as an electrician in the SABC 1 drama series Zone 14 marked the beginning of Kope Makgae’s acting career. He became well-known thanks to television ads, particularly those for OLX and DStv. In the SABC3 soapie Isidingo, he played Thapelo, Papa G’s henchman, on multiple occasions in 2013.
His first major television role was as Gunsten ‘Gus’ Moloi in the Mzansi Magic telenovela Kaba. Along with playing Mpumi in the e.tv anthology series Mzansi Love, he also starred as Mr. Finance in the feature film Thina Sobabili.
