Early age and Education

Karabo Ricks was born on the 3rd of September 1989 in Johannesburg Gauteng province. Nothing much is known about the Childhood experience. But Karabo wrote Matric in 2006 at Thutolore Secondary school. She did the following subjects, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Accounting, Life Sciences, English and South Sotho. In 2008 she studied Television Productions at NEMISA. She is currently studying Dramatic Arts at Wits University from January 2021.

Career of Karabo Ricks

From May 2010 to October 2012 she worked in Soweto as a Multimedia Operator, Sales manager, Administrator at Orlando Towers. She was providing a memorable recreation/ extreme sports experience for Orlando Towers clients by capturing the experience on video. She also was a Production assistant at Ochre TV in Johannesburg from February to August 2015. She is currently a featured actress on etvScandal since August 2015. She is also a Self employer, Artist, Singer and Model.

Personal life of  Ricks

She is currently engaged to Sehlome Masekela since 31 December 2016. According to Karabo Instagram she has a daughter named Akiah. She also have a brother by the name of Masego Maselwane. Karabo have 3 cousins namely Maps Mamakgothalo Dire, Gift and Ofentse Mmusi. Her father’s name is Maera Mmusi.

She once visited Sasani studios ( etv Scandal ) at Balfour park in Highlands North on the 20th of January 2023. On the 15th of January she visited Bapedi Hall in Soweto. On the 16th of December 2022 she visited Maponya Mall in Johannesburg.
