Jesse’s advice to aspiring actors
What we came here for. If you are an aspiring actor, Jesse Suntele has some advice for you. When asked what his advice would be to aspiring actors, one of the things that stood out were the following: “Make sure it is something you really want and stick around”. Jesse said that most people will try something because someone else is doing it or it seems to be working for someone instead of it being something they really want.
So one of his main and first advices was to make sure it is something you really want. Then he proceeded to say that you must be patient because nothing happens over night. Most people expect magical results in their first audition and the truth is it takes time.
Sometimes it can be on your first audition but you must be ready to face rejection for even a year or more just to get a single role. Which brings us back to sticking around and making sure it is something you really want. That is because most people will give up after 2 or 3 failed auditions. And if you want something, you must never take no for an answer. Keep trying and eventually it will work out.
