Early life.

Leruo Tseole’s real name in The Outlaws is Lehlohonolo Mayeza. He is originally from Lesotho, in a small village called Ha-Tjope. His date of birth is 1991. Lehlohonolo lost his parents at a young age. Since then, he has suffered a lot, to the point of being homeless. Despite that, he pursued his career with passion.

Educational background

He obtained his matriculation in Lesotho. After finishing his matriculation, he relocated to Maseru, the capital city of Lesotho. There, he found himself homeless for almost nine months. Later, he got a job, which helped him further his studies. He studied film and production television at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology.

Career journey in acting.

He began acting in 2017 while he was studying at the university. Lehlohonolo was also part of a of a TV series and short films aired in Lesotho; others were commercials. He was a lead character in a TV series called Masikong. The Masikong series Trailor went viral; that’s where producers from South Africa saw him. They contacted him to audition for the character of Leruo in The Outlaws. That’s how he got the role to play Leruo on the Outlaws. The Outlaws were the biggest breakthrough for Lehlohonolo Mayeza.

He recalled the warm welcome he received upon arriving to shoot for the film. Also, he got the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of his favorite actors.
