Siyabonga started acting through theater. This is where he acquired his acting skills. During the airing of DiepCity, he got a chance to appear among other actors. He was more involved with performing arts at Diepsloot Youth in Action (2019–2022). He was part of a short film called The Budget.
In 2023, he got an opportunity to act on Scandal, where he is portraying a character as Mbuso. Mbuso is the young brother of Phakamile, who was in prison. He was in juvenile prison. Mbuso’s character continued until now.
Through the exposure he had on television, he got opportunities to become a voiceover artist for brands like MTN and McDonald. It’s a good thing because his dreams came true. He appeared on Mzansi magic in Code13.
