Azwi Rambuda, also known as Azwimmbavhi Rambuda, was born on December 1st, 1988, as a Venda prince in the Limpopo Province’s Dzimauli Musanda Ha-Rambuda region. She was raised in the South African town of Venda, Dzimauli. Azwi’s upbringing in the royal household was typical despite differing from the norm in that her mother forbade her and her siblings from playing outside in the garden. Her mother would prefer to spend money on supplies to maintain them in the garden.
When Azwi fell in love with acting in high school, she understood that she wouldn’t be following in the footsteps of her mother and becoming a teacher. After competing in a talent show, Azwi adored the spotlight and the attention she received. But like other parents, her parents were concerned about how and where she would find work in light of her subsequent behaviour.
