1. We have Busi Lurayi who passed away in 2022 at the age of 36. Busi died after got a role to act on Scandal as Mishell. Before she died she shoots some of the scenes as Mishell. The scenes were aired on Scandal after she passed. Definitely that was very painful for her family to watch their daughter on television after her passing. She was replaced by Thuli Thabethe who continued her character as Mishell.
2. We have Sandy Mokoena who portrayed a character as Bra Eddie on Scandal. He was acting alongside Maletsatsi. The 68 year-old played the role of a respected and award winning journalist, bra Eddie Khumalo in etv’s popular weekday soapie, Scandal. He has been with the soapie since 2005. He left this world in 2018.
3. Long gone are the days when we were first introduced to Shona back in 2007. Shona Ferguson played a role as Alex on Scandal until he left in 2011. Unfortunately we lost him due to COVID 19 complications. He passed away in 2021 at the age of 47.

4. The late Tamara Jozi breathed her last on the 6th of August 2021. News about her sudden death was announced by her daughter- Ziyanda Jozi who also explained that the veteran actress had died from natural causes. She was known as Mme Joice on Scandal.

6. Veteran actress Nomhle Nkonyeni passed away at the age of 77. She died in hospital on after she was admitted according to a close family friend. She played a character as Lulama Langa in etv soapie Scandal. Lulama Langa was the mother to Siseko Langa. Mother in law to Boniswa Langa.
