Lasizwe Dambuza wrote on his instagram account that he just reached 1Million Subscribers. He said he is the first under 30 to reach 1 Million Subscribers on Youtube. Lasizwe was born 1998 he is 26 years old as of 2024.
In 2017, Dambuza started his journey by introducing us to his humorous skits and alter ego, Nomatriquency. However, his popular dating program “Awkward Dates” was the catalyst for his channel’s success. This humorous YouTube series, which debuted in August 2023, has grown to be a viewer favorite. [1]

Dambuza expressed his sincere gratitude during a live YouTube and Instagram session to commemorate the milestone.
“Guys, we did it! Thank you to everybody! Thank you to every single one of you who has watched Awkward Dates, subscribed, and I’m truly grateful,” he said. “You guys could’ve subscribed somewhere else, but you chose to subscribe and believe in a young Black man’s dreams,” he said. [2]
