Bheki Sibiya is a South African actor, director, cinematographer and producer. He was born in a small village in Emadadeni, Newcastle in KwaZulu Natal. His age 50 as of 2024 because he was born in 1973. It’s unknown if he has siblings and parents. He loves to keep his life private.

Career of Bheki Sibiya

He began his career as a production assistant on a number of television series. Meanwhile, he co-directed theater shows and produced and directed documentaries.In 1999, he played “Bheki Sotobe” in the SABC2 soap opera Muvhango. He appeared as a guest star in the television series Sorted in 2005. Then, in 2006, he was cast as “Fayo” in the police procedural drama series Zero Tolerance.

He directed the short film Father Christmas Doesn’t Come Here in 2009. The film went on to win Best Narrative Short at the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival. He served as an assistant art director on the film Winnie Mandela (2011) in 2011. The next year, he was the cinematographer for the film Legend Within.

His first starring role on television, however, came in 2019 with the Mzansi Magic drama serial eHostela. He portrayed “Mancinza” in that serial. Following that accomplishment, he portrayed “Khombindlela” in the Mzansi Magic drama Ifalakhe. Later that year, he participated in Mzansi Magic drama season two, supernatural serial The Herd, and season 5 of popular SABC1 telenovela Uzalo. In the year 2020, he was cast as “Dr Ndlovu” in the e.tv medical drama program Durban Gen. In 2021, he portrayed “Bhodloza” in the Mzansi Magic serial DiepCity. He was also nominated for “Favorite Actor” at the 2020 DStv Mzansi Viewers’ Choice Awards.

Currently in 2024, he bagged another role on Icala which aired on Msanzi Magic Drama. He will act alongside Lerato Mvelase who will be his wife. Other actors includes Sana Mchunu is part of the drama series.
