Dr Mugari AKA Jerome Galiao was born in Harare, Zimbabwe, on June 5, 1984.
When he was a little lad in primary school, Jerome Galiao dreamed of being an actor.
He attended Prince Edward High School where got his matric. After matric he enrolled at a tertiary college which assisted him to join modelling.
His career in acting
He began modeling at the age of 19 in 2003, when he was a member of Zimbabwe’s Supermodels. He started his acting career in 2008 when he relocated to South Africa and played Ezra in the film Broken Vows. Jerome Galiao is a model and actor from Zimbabwe who is most known for his roles in Isithembiso, Scandal, and Gomora.

Jerome Galiao appeared in supporting roles in films such as Zabalaza (2014) and Umlilo (2015). On Hope, he was identified as a gang member named Frank in 2018, while on The Queen, he played the character of Dos Santos from 2017 to 2019. Jerome rose to prominence in 2021 as a consequence of his outstanding performance as Dr. Nyasha Mugari in the television show Scandal.
