Actor Sekoati (Sk) Tsubane was born in Lesotho. Sk is a native speaker of English, (South) Sotho, Afrikaans, Setswana, plus a little bit of Xhosa and Zulu. His date of birth is on the 18th of November 1980, age 42 years old. He is married man with kids. His wife’s name is unknown. Also it’s unknown how many children does he has. On Facebook he shared pictures with his wife and daughter who was still young at that time.

Besides the children he has in his current relationship he once lost a baby from his previous relationship. This baby he has with Zoleka Mandela died while still young. The baby was born premature and we assume he didn’t survive due to that. Although his relationship with Zoleka Mandela didn’t work out, he was lucky to find a woman whom he call a wife.

Sekoati studied B.A Drama and Theatre Arts at the University of the Freestate. He completed his degree in 2003 with a Cum Laude.

Career journey as an actor

His most well-known performance was as Kabelo on 7de Laan. Before coming to 7de Laan, Sk began his career on the wildly popular SABCI soap Generations as Jeff. Jeff was Jack Mabaso bodyguard. He was part of the series of Castle Lite T.V commercials starring alongside Vanilla Ice and Mc Hammer.

Career as a musician

Additionally a gifted musician, Sekoati Tsubane—better known by his stage name SK Sekoati—had a few underground bands that primarily played hip hop and drum and bass.

Since then, he has performed as a solo artist, and “Love of My Life” is the title of his debut single. He collaborated on this record with acclaimed award-winning producers Terry Pinana and his brother Goggi Pinana (who also worked on KB’s “Beautiful Vibrations” and “Rock Lefatse”), as well as with worldwide producer and DJ Harrison Crump. Salome Damon, a favorite in Cape Town, and Vuyelwa Booi are also featured on the record (also of 7de Laan fame).

“Make a difference,” his most recent single and music video, was just released with Emo Adams. Additionally, he recently finished filming for a Zulu role.
