Thandolwethu Olly Zondi grew up and born in Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu Natal. He was born in 2002 in July. Olly is a professional sportsman who plays soccer and rugby, he is also an MC and actor. The 23 year old actor is a South African by birth. Currently he is well known for appearing in Netflix film called GO.
Zondi was raised by a single mother. Of course his father was present but she grew up in the presence of his mother the most. It’s unknown if he has siblings.
Educational background
He studied Sports Management at ETA college after given a scholarship by The Sharks Academy. So he is a qualified graduate with a degree in Sports Management.

Career journey
While pursuing his career in Sports Management, he joined model agency and became a model for GIO model Durban. He became a radio host at Durban Youth radio in program called Sports Unlocked Sports.
As sportsman he also became a commentator for Super Sports School. He was an MC and presenter as well for Sharks Rugby. As a young man with many hats, he is a professional soccer player who played for Summerfield Dynamos. Since he is professional sportsman, he was a Sports Coordinator at Grace College.(1)
Due to his passion in sports and cultural he was seen fit to be an actor in film called GO Netflix.
Thandolwethu didn’t believe it after received a call from the casting agency. The director of the GO Netflix saw Thandolwethu Olly Zondi as leading actor in GO Netflix.
The interesting part is that the storyline is the same as his life history. His character Siya Bolt got scholarship to run. And he is into sports. Thandolwethu could relate to the character even though it was not simple to be the first time to start acting.
Through the help from experienced actors and directors. He managed to bring the hidden talent of acting to life. This the first acting role he ever get so far. It’s a breakthrough to him. Of course he appeared in theater drama. Other projects he worked are yet to come.
