Anthony Oseyemi was born and raised in the United Kingdom and later emigrated to South Africa. He is a South African Nigerian actor, writer, musician, and producer of Nigerian heritage. His parents are originally from Nigeria so they went to United Kingdom where they gave birth to Anthony. He grew up while staying in United Kingdom until he relocated to South Africa. It’s unknown how many children they were in their family.

The Isono actor was born January 17, 1977 which makes him 45 years old as of 2022. We do not know yet if he is married or have children. His accent is that of United Kingdom and he struggled to learn his home language which is Yoruba. Sharing on social media, he posted a video where he was learning Nigerian language Yoruba. He grew up while speaking English and this suggests that their home language wasn’t spoken often or not at all. Career journey

He played a recurring role in the 2002–2003 television series Is Harry On The Boat?, and in the 2005 episode of the Channel 4 comedy series Coming Up titled “Viva Liberty,” he appeared in a guest role (Season 3, Episode 7). He was chosen to serve as the host of the inaugural season of Survivor: Africa, a television reality competition modeled after the US Survivor format, in 2006.

From 2007 to 2010, he played the lead character in the e.tv drama series Shooting Stars. He portrayed Goodman in the made-for-TV movies Mein Traum von Afrika and Mein Herz in Afrika in 2007, and he also had a supporting role in the full-length movie Flood.

He hosted the brief season of the reality modeling competition Model Million$ in 2008, which debuted on SABC3 on October 1. Lack of funding caused the series to be canceled, SABC3 said on November 10th, 2008.

In 2012, he appeared in the episode titled “Something’s Cooking” of the e.tv anthology series Mzansi Love: Ekasi Style, which was based on Charleen Naidoo’s Nollybook novel Recipe for Love.

Additionally, from 2012 to 2013, he played the role of Solomon Onyegu, a Nigerian expert on all things eerie, in the science fiction drama Room 9 on SABC1.
