1. Thembi Mtshali who played the character of Mandlovu from Imbewu got her PhD. At the age 72 She obtained her degree at the Durban of University of Technology in 2022. Thembi studied Honorary doctorate in Philosophy Visual and Performance art.
2. Jerry Mofokeng is South African Actor who is well known for acting on Scandal Bra Moscow. He acted in other drama series and film as well in South Africa. In 2019, he received honorary doctorate at the University Free State from Faculty of Humanities. Jerry was 62 years when he received his PhD.
3. John Kani is a South African Actor and Writer. He is well known for featured on international films as well as local drama series. He is also the writer of a popular book called Nothing but the truth. He was given an honorary doctorate by the University of Cape town. In 2013, he received another honorary doctorate from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University.
4. Candice Modeselle is South African Actress and Dancer. The actress was well known for acting on Generations the Legacy as Lerato . She obtained her honours degree in Dramatic Arts at the University Vits.
5. Regina Nesengani is a well known actress who potrays a character as Vho Masindi on Muvhango. The mother to chief Azwindini from Muvhango. At the age of 65, she received her honorary doctorate from the University of South Africa (Unisa). The inpiring thing is she wrote her thesis in her native language Venda. The thesis focused on the abuse of women.
6. Innocent Sadiki is a well known South African actress. She plays a character as Sthoko from Skeem Saam. She graduated with Master degree from AFDA school of Art. Her twin sister Millisent Mashile obtained her honours degree in motion picture medium.
7. Lilian Dube is a South African Actress. She received honorary doctorate at Tshwane university of Technology. She is now Dr Dube.
8. Shaun Mkhize also received her doctorate from unregistered college. The celeb claimed that she wanted to be called Dr Mkhize. MaMkhize once appeared on Durban Gen as a guest.

Shudu Musida was former Miss South Africa 2020. She graduated from University of Vits with her honours degree in International relations.
Ntando Kunene is also former Miss South Africa. She graduated from University with honours degree in Curriculum Issues.
Unathi Nkathi is a South African well known radio personality and former idol SA judge. She received her doctorate degree as well. She is now Dr Nkanyi.
Rebecca Malope is a South African gospel musician. She was honoured to receive her Doctorate. She is now Dr Malope
Winnie Mashaba is South African Gospel singer. She was honoured with honorary doctorate. She is now Dr Mashaba.
Yvonne Chakachaka is a South African musician. She was honoured with honorary doctorate. She is now Dr Chakachaka.
