Somizi continues to win in his career despite his personal life being in turmoil.
He has landed his own talk show, according to the media personality.
Downtime with Somizi will premiere on DStv channel 1 Magic on April 1st.
Taking to Instagram, the star revealed the exciting news of his new talk show.
He posted: “DOWNTIME WITH SOMIZI……set your alarms….. kushubile uGod and my ancestors are at play……and your prayers”.

And in typical Som-gaga fashion, the show will be out of the ordinary when it come to talk shows.
According to Daily Sun, the show is “filled with twists and turns” and will see the star and his guests take part in quirky and adventurous activities before heading off to a five-star dinner.
“I’m taking five star experiences that make everyone want to fetch their lives”, Somizi can be heard saying in a promo.
Leading women Connie Ferguson and former Miss South Africa Peggy Sue Khumalo, businesspeople Tbo Touch and DJ Sbu, soccer managers Bobby Motaung and Shauwn Mkhize, and fun-loving sisters Anele Mdoda and Thembisa Nxumalo are among the upcoming guests on the show.
It’s not the Idols SA judge’s first attempt into the entertainment industry. On 1Magic, the star hosted Dinner at Somizi’s, where Somizi prepared a delectable feast and cocktails for his guests.
However, Somizi was accused of “stealing the idea” from a man named Hastings Moeng, and the show was tarnished.
Downtime with Somizi will premiere on DStv channel 103 at 20:30 on April 1st.
