Muvhango is one of the popular drama soap operas that aired on SABC 1. It was based on daily stories that happen in Limpopo. Actually, the language used to act was Venda. The drama was created by Duma Ndlovu, who realized that people from Venda have talent. He created a drama soap opera that resonated with the daily life stories of Venda people.
A long time ago, a lot of people were watching the drama. Several actors left the soap opera, like Thandaza, whom people loved so much. We saw a lot of actors being added as well. Some were criticized for a lack of acting skills. Actors like Seneo Mabengano were criticized for their lack of acting skills. It seems like Muvhango was employing models and influencers rather than real actors. Their strategy to get more views actually couldn’t work.
