Early life.
Palesa Madisakwane was born in a good family. She grew up with both parents, who later separated. Her mother was a teacher who loved beauty like she did. When Palesa’s parents separated, her mother started drinking heavily. This made her hate drinking anything called alcohol because she saw how it affected her mother. Unfortunately, the mother passed away.

At the age of 19, Palesa Madisakwane started dating Somizi before he became famous. They dated for almost a year. When Palesa was 21, she fell pregnant. She informed Somizi about the pregnancy, but Somizi distanced himself from her. Somizi even suggested that she must abort the unborn baby. This is when Somizi revealed his gender; he told her that he was gay.

Palesa was surprised because she didn’t know all this time she was dating a gay. Maybe it was a stunt to deny the pregnancy; who knows? Somizi denied the child and claimed that it was not his.(1)
How was her pregnancy journey?
Palesa’s pregnancy was not simple. She was all alone until the day she gave birth to her daughter. Of course, her family was very supportive, but her boyfriend, who impregnated her, ran away.
She didn’t have clothes for her baby when she gave birth. By God’s grace her child got clothing anyway despite her suffering. One of the people who supported her was Somizi’s sister. She accepted Palesa despite her brother rejecting her.
When the child was born Palesa had to work hard to take care of her baby. She began looking for a job, one of the job was being a waitress. The work helped her to raised her daughter. During that time, Somizi’s sister was taking care of the baby while Palesa was going to work.

Despite the difficulties and pregnancy, Palesa didn’t stop dreaming higher. She ended up getting her first acting gig which provided her with better salary. This was a breakthrough for her. After that she continued to pursue her career until the time she was employed by Generations.

What was the most challenging issues in Palesa’s life?
Raising her daughter wasn’t simple without financial help from the father. This lead Palesa to approach the maintenance court. All this time the father was denying his baby. So she went to court and they took DNA test which confirmed that Somizi was the Father.
Despite the DNA test being positive, Somizi didn’t step up as a father and took care of her child. Palesa had to work hard to made sure her baby got food.
Palesa revealed that she raised her daughter Bahumi all by herself. No help from the father of the baby. Just because Somizi appeared to be rich on television a lot of people thought the daughter is well taken care of. Actually the opposite isn’t true. Somizi spent his money outside of her daughter.
Palesa revealed that if he had to do something for her daughter the whole world has to know which made people thought she well taken care of. Now her daughter is 30 years old.
Palesa Madisakwane moved on and divorce
Later she got married to a lovely husband. She was blessed with two children, a boy and a girl. Her husband took care of her daughter as his own. Even her daughter was calling the husband Dad. It was a happy family until Palesa decided to divorce him. She stated that her husband was not defending her from his family. It made her fall out of love.
So in real life Palesa Madisakwane has three children. Bahumi Mhlongo from Somizi and other two from her previous marriage. She loved her children so much and they united as a family.

Palesa Madisakwane accident
Palesa was once involved in an accident. This happened when she was coming back from a wedding of her friend. In the car, she was with her daughter, Bahumi. She got injured in the head.
The head injury affected her a lot. The damages to her face needed surgery, which cost a lot of money. Luckily, Palesa’s friend supported her and paid for the surgery. This is the friend she attended a wedding with before the accident.
Palesa went through a lot, which we didn’t write about. She is now into businesses and has her own makeup company called Koinonia. Also, she opened a YouTube where she tells her story. It has been long since we watched her on television. Hopefully we will see her.
