Winnie Ntshaba who is known as Khethiwe from Generations or Faith Zwide on House of Zwide is a CEO of Royalty Soapie Awards.

Winnie was born in Eshowe KwaZulu Natal in South Africa. She studied acting at the University of KwaZulu Natal. Growing up, life was not easy for her. In her childhood she remembered how they used to apply cooking oil as body. Those who went through the same difficult understand how to eat pap without relish. Although she is now on top she once ate pap with oranges thats how poor they were. Coming from impoverished village encouraged her to work hard and further her studies. One of her inspirational person was her Sister who inpired her to further her studies.
Winnie was known as Khethiwe Buthelezi on Generations. She is currently acting on House of Zwide, she has role as a starring Faith Zwide. Faith Zwide is the wife of Funani Zwide, the fashion designer.

How did she founded Royalty Soapie Awards.
The Royalty Soapie Awards was founded soon after Winnie got fired from Generations. It was not only Winnie got fired but all the actors who were fighting to get their salaries increased. At first there was this fear of unknown that what will happen after they got fired. Since another door was closed, the other door was open thats when Royalty Soapie Awards was formed. It was first staged in 2014 and this year 2021 is the 5th Royalty Soapie Awards.
In 2020 they launched the Royalty Soapie Foundation. They go around the communities around the country developing filmmaking skills of disadvantaged youth

Winnie dreamed that they will give prize as money because she strongly believe that celebrating someone’s excellence is to give them something of value.
