Personal life history of his biography.
Siyabonga Sepotokele is a South African musician and actor. He was born 23 October 1995 in Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa. The actor is a multilingual, he is able to speak Tsonga, Zulu, Sotho, Xhosa , Swati, Venda and English. He attended his primary at Sivuleleni Primary school and high school at St David’s Marist Inanda and then went to study music at the University of Witswatersrand. Unfortunately he drop out after one year and couldn’t finish his higher education studies. After dropping out he focused on acting.
He lost his mother and grandmother within a short period of time. His grandmother died in December 2016, and his mother in January 2017. The passing of her mother left him broken because he expected to do take care of his mom. Sadly she died soon after he got his first acting gig. Just from then he found himself drinking excessively which resulted in him gaining weight.

Career as a musician.
Siya began singing when he was in Grade 6, at that time he was attending school at Sivuleleni Primary School. He used to listen to old music records thats when he got his inpiration. His late mother Phyllis Sepotokele discovered that her son has a talent to sing so she would tell people about it. Siya considered her Mom as his first agent in terms of music because she used to tell people he can sing.
While still in grade 6, he was introduced to one of South African producer called Tsietsi Mofokeng. He mentored and trained Siya until he began to sing classical music at the age of 13. Due to his love for music, when he was 15 years old, he got a scholarship to study at St David’s Marist Inanda. At the school he was exposed to art subjects so he studied music.
His career in acting
Firstly, he got small cameo role to act on Isibaya Season 4 which is aired on Mzansi Magic. In 2016, he got his first starring role on SABC2 Telenovela, Keeping Score. On Keeping Score he potrayed a character as Lehasa, Mmamosa’s youngest son who inherited his mother’s looks, sex appeal and mind for money.
The year 2019, he acted in four series includes The Republic, Grassroots, Impilo: The Scam and the River. The series drama were aired at the same time. In the River he acted three seasons as Njabulo. In 2020, he appeared in Muvhango SABC2 soapie as Sechaba, a cancer survivor, doctor and love interest to Imani. Currently, he is acting on Lingashoni as Donald.
