Anthea Career journey in acting
She is also known for her work in theatre, predominantly in Cape Town, including such productions as Shirley Valentine at the Kalk Bay Theatre and Much Ado About Nothing at Maynardville.
Other theatre roles include Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Fleur du Cap Award, Best Supporting Actress, 1995), Martha in Elizabeth (Fleur du Cap Award, Best Supporting Actress, 1996), Cabaret (Fleur du Cap Award, Best Contribution to a Musical or Revue, 1995), Into the Woods (1997) and The Shakespeare Revue (1997) – winning a Fleur du Cap Award for Best Contribution to a Musical for both productions.
