Mondli Thusi was born on January 18, 1987. As of 2023, he will be 36 years old. He was born in Newcastle to two apparently Zulu parents; he has one older brother and two sisters. His parents are still married, and he recently celebrated his mother’s 62nd birthday. On her 61st birthday, he treated her and his father to a spa getaway. So he comes from a pretty solid family. He also has a close relationship with his siblings. Mondli is also the cousin of the famous celebrity Musa Mseleku. It’s not quite clear how they are related, it seems that his mother is from Mseleku family. Hence he use the Thusi surname not Mseleku. Career of Mondli Thusi
Mondli began his career as a radio host in New Castle. He attributed it all to his cousin, polygamist Musa Mseleku. Mondli stated that Mseleku pushed him to appear on his reality show Uthando Nesithemi, which is when his television career began.
He has now appeared as an actor in a number of TV programs, including Isibaya, Seriously Single and Lithapo. He also appeared on the drama series uBettina Wethu where he potrayed a character as a gay. He joins the serial soapie Scandal in 2022. He plays the role of Selepe in the drama. He initially appeared when he hauled Ceejay up after discovering he was sleeping with his girlfriend.
Selepe’s character continues to appear on Scandal every 19:30. We have no idea how long it will persist. Selepe was arrested with his lover the last time we saw him.
