Thokozisa Ziqubu is a South African Actor. He was born 1 June 1994, age 27 years old this year 2021. Ziqubu is from Imbali Pietermaritzburg KwaZulu Natal midlands. Educationally, he attended St. Nicolas High and Linpark High School. Also he abtained his Bachelor Degree of Arts in Live Performance at AFDA.
How did Thokozisa breakthrough in acting?
Before he began acting on Durban Gen Thokozisa was working as a Uber driver. Talking to Daily Sun he said that Durban Gen has saved his life. On one occasion he was robbed of money and cellphones while he was on duty. The robbery took place almost two times where money and cellphones were taken from him.
After he relocated to Johannesburg in looking for better opportunity, thats when he joined Uber in 2019. Actually, he knew how dangerous the job could be but he continued anyway. Due to the scarcity of job opportunities in the industry, he kept on working.

His life was in danger but he give thanks to his ancestors for keeping him alive and rescued him. Thokozisa chose to work at Uber since he first tried auditions and got nothing.
Career in acting
This year 2021 he joined Durban Gen after receiving a call from casting agent for Durban Gen. He couldn’t believe it that he landed a role in Durban Gen. The call was received when he was on duty driving a passenger and he cried. Definitely, it was tears of joy after what he went through risking her life as Uber driver.
Although he said Durban Gen is his big breakthrough. He also acted in several television drama such as Nkosana, Amathafa, Ngithande, Echelon, The Second, KwaGebezi, Ordinary People and Signal. In all these role he was playing a supporting role. He appeared in a film called Ekhaya and was part of theatre dramas such as Othello, Matlakala and open wide.
His role on Durban Gen is acting as an intern in the hospital as Dr Lethuxolo Bhengu. Mr Bhengu loves to gossip and being in everybody’s business. He is also manipulative.
Thokozisa relationship
Thokozisa is in a relationship with her long-term girlfriend Lungelo Lulu Madondo. The couple seems to love each other so much. Thokozisa always post pictures of her girlfriend on Facebook and he adores her so much. He shared how he feels about the girl without fear of the public.
